Advisory
- Handles clients and offering a complete suite of commercial banking and investment banking solutions.
- Advises companies in a turnaround situation with respect to liquidity concerns, undertaking viability study, develop sustainable business plans and getting involved in the rehabilitation package
Stressed Asset Management
- Manages stressed assets involving interaction with top management of the company, performance monitoring & benchmarking, adherence to terms, site visits to business
- Arranges for fresh financing in stressed and special situation assets with an objective to provide overall resolution, which involves business analysis, study of company’s potential & industry risk & prospects, business and financial engineering, etc. - direct interaction with Promoters, investors.
Performance Monitoring
- Closely monitors exposures to enable proactive action whenever required. Review credit files, financials and security documentation and current status
- Designs and implements suitable early warning triggers for allocated accounts. Closely monitors allocated portfolio, regular review of operational and financial performance, monthly cash flows, tracking performance of various industries which have a bearing on the respective assets etc.
- Implements the risk policies and processes (operational, regulatory, financial, informational, reputational and audit risks), ensuring that that these meet regulatory and internal requirements.
- Implements the internal control systems in the department and participates in the departmental audits.
- Implements practices to bridge gaps identified during departmental audits.
People Management
- Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensures that the goals are monitored and achieved during the course of the year.
- Takes ownership of his/her own learning agenda by identifying development needs in consultation with the reporting manager and working towards bridging the gaps through various means which go beyond just training.
- Understands the competencies relevant to his/her role, and works towards displaying as well as developing these effectively.
- Keeps abreast of relevant professional/industry developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional networks.
SECTION V: OPERATING NETWORK
Internal
Legal Risk ManagementCoordinating and securing relevant inputs, thus making sure that all applicable steps are undertaken within stipulated timelines and ruling out any risk to the Bank. While doing so, also to ensure adherence to regulatory framework and guidelines and resolutions of the stressed assets.Risk ManagementCoordinating and reporting on aspects related to risk management in various recovery cases on a periodic basis thus ensuring adherence to risk and regulatory framework/ guidelines.
External
Customers/ PromotersHigh degree of engagement thus ensuring Bank’s interest is prioritized by the stressed / defaulting borrowers, and to be able to drive Bank’s interest during the tenor of the exposure.
SECTION VI: ROLE PROFILE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualification Which Are Essential To Execute The Role.
Education
Essential:
Master’s degree is preferred for members of WB Team while it may not be necessary for Retail Team
Preferred: CA/MBA from a reputed institute
Experience
Essential:
Experience of 5 years+ is required
Preferred:
Prior experience in BFSI sector/General industry in junior management role (IC)
