Job Summary

The Relationship Manager (RM) is responsible for building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients by understanding their financial and business needs, offering suitable solutions, and ensuring excellent service. The role involves acquiring new clients, deepening existing relationships, and achieving revenue and growth targets for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of clients to achieve sales and service objectives.
  • Acquire new customers through networking, cold calling, referrals, and business events.
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions (banking, insurance, investments, or products as per industry).
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
  • Cross-sell and upsell products/services to maximize client value.
  • Monitor client accounts, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market opportunities.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and business updates to management.

  • Good understanding of financial products/services (for BFSI roles).
  • Customer-centric approach with problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client relationships and meet targets.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 2–6 years of experience in relationship management, sales, or client servicing.
  • Experience in banking, insurance, NBFC, or B2B client management is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and sales reporting systems.

KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)

  • Number of new clients acquired.
  • Revenue and profitability from managed accounts.
  • Client satisfaction and retention rate.
  • Cross-sell/upsell ratio.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
