Purpose/Objective


    The Regional Technical Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of technical services within a specific state / part of state. This role is crucial in ensuring the effective execution of strategies and initiatives that align with the company’s objectives for demand generation, brand building, and sales support.

Key Responsibilities of Role


    Operational Execution - Implement and oversee the execution of technical services strategies related to demand generation, brand building, and supporting sales within the region. - Ensure the alignment of regional activities with the broader goals set by the CTSM and head office. Channel Development - Support channel partners by organizing technical services activities for customers and influencers. - Identify and address problems faced by dealers and channel partners, such as degrowing sales. - Conduct canopy activities, customer guidance camps, and IHB clinics to support new and focused channel partners withing the region. Ethical Standards - Use ethical reasoning to guide decisions, considering the broader impact on the organization and stakeholders. - Ensure all communications, both verbal and written, reflect the organization’s commitment to integrity and ethics. Policy Adherence and Development - Implement and enforce organizational policies to maintain consistency and alignment with corporate objectives. - Contribute to policy development by providing feedback and insights from departmental operations. Performance Monitoring - Monitor the performance of technical services activities, ensuring they meet quality targets and align with company standards. - Utilize systems like the PRPO and GIF records to track and report on regional performance. KPI Management - Manage and report on KPIs related to brand building, customer engagement, and sales support within the region. - Ensure that regional initiatives contribute effectively to the function's/ company’s overall KPIs. Stakeholder Engagement - Engage with customers, influencers, and other stakeholders to build the brand and support sales efforts. - Organize and conduct workshops, training sessions, and plant visits to enhance influencer relationships. Team Management - Lead the regional TSE's team, setting clear expectations and providing regular feedback. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement by Coordinating with the CTSM to identify training needs and implementing capability-building programs for the Technical Service Engineer's team within the region. Organizational Skills - Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure timely completion of departmental objectives and projects. - Implement best practices in workflow management to reduce bottlenecks and improve output quality. - Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to changing priorities and demands with agility. Transparency in Operations - Foster a culture of openness by sharing information transparently with team members and stakeholders. - Establish clear accountability mechanisms to track performance and decision-making within the department. - Document and communicate decision-making processes and rationales to ensure clarity and understanding. Qualifications and Experience


    Educational Qualification - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil). Work Experience (Range of years) - 8-10 years in technical services with regional management exposure. Industry Knowledge - Familiarity with regional market trends and technical service requirements in the cement industry.
