Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with YCS’s business objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a regional sales team to achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Drive new customer acquisition and ensure successful adoption and retention of existing clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and minimizing churn.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and implement training programs to enhance team performance.
  • Analyse regional market trends, identify growth opportunities, and propose new products, services, or sales approaches.
  • Prepare and manage the regional budget, optimize resources, and recommend process improvements.
  • Represent YCS at trade shows, conferences, and industry events as needed.

Key Skills Needed

  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and lead a regional sales team effectively.
  • Strong experience in sales forecasting, KPI management, and customer base expansion.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software and tracking sales performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven decision-making mindset.
  • Willingness to travel across the South India region as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6–7 years of experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager, or equivalent sales leadership role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any related discipline; MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a regional or multi-location setup.
  • Experience managing teams of 10–15 members, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes, forecasting, pipeline management, and KPI-driven performance.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to make informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales performance dashboards.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within South India as needed.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business priorities.
