Job Description

As a Regional Business Development Manager in the Solar Energy sector based in Jaipur, your role will be crucial in driving business growth within the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) solar segment. You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, conducting market research, and contributing to strategic planning. - Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the commercial and industrial solar energy sector. - Building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients, consultants, project management companies (PMCs), and regulatory authorities. - Conducting market research to track industry trends, emerging opportunities, and competitive activities. - Managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure. - Collaborating with technical and project teams to ensure project feasibility and client alignment. - Developing strategies to enhance regional market presence and revenue. - Providing regular updates to senior management through reports on business development activities and market insights. - Coordinating with internal teams for timely project execution. - Participating in industry events to promote the company's offerings. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. MBA is preferred. - 8-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or project management in the solar or renewable energy sector. - Strong knowledge of solar power systems, project lifecycle, and relevant regulations. - Demonstrated experience in managing sales processes and closing deals. - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. - Ability to analyze market data and make informed decisions. - Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams. - Willingness to travel as per business requirements. - Prior experience in solar EPC projects or project bidding is highly desirable. Preferred qualifications include in-depth knowledge of the solar market in Jaipur and an established professional network within the solar industry. This is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule. Fluency in English is preferred, and the willingness to travel up to 25% is desirable.
