Job Title: HR Recruiter – Automotive Industry

Job Purpose:

The HR Recruiter will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition for various roles across the automotive industry, ensuring the company attracts, hires, and retains the best talent. The role requires strong industry knowledge, networking abilities, and expertise in recruitment practices tailored to the automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the complete recruitment life cycle (sourcing, screening, interviewing, negotiating, and onboarding).

Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and define job descriptions.

Source candidates through job portals, professional networks, campus hiring, employee referrals, and social media.

Conduct preliminary HR interviews to evaluate candidates’ suitability for technical and cultural fit.

Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for future needs in production, R&D, design, quality, supply chain, sales, and other automotive functions.

Coordinate and schedule interviews with line managers and track progress.

Handle offer negotiation, reference checks, and smooth onboarding processes.

Maintain recruitment metrics such as TAT, cost per hire, and quality of hire.

Stay updated on automotive industry trends and compensation benchmarks.

Support employer branding initiatives, including career fairs and campus recruitment drives.

Ensure compliance with HR policies, labor laws, and company guidelines during hiring.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.

3–7 years of recruitment experience (preferably in automotive / manufacturing industry).

Strong understanding of automotive functions (production, engineering, design, supply chain, sales, etc.).

Hands-on experience with ATS, job portals, and professional networking sites.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

Ability to manage multiple positions simultaneously with a focus on deadlines.

Strong stakeholder management and candidate relationship skills.
