Job Description

We're seeking a full-time or part-time recruiter to assist in building and scaling our Gurugram sales team by 10-12 associates. You'll also get involved in hiring for our new internship program, supply chain and inventory team, digital marketing, and e-commerce. The shift will be 7 pm - 4 am IST mirroring the US EST working hours of 8-5 pm.

We're BuildMyPlace - a US business based in Louisville KY that is transforming the home building and remodeling/renovation business in the US. One of our go-to-market strategies is calling on home-owners, contractors, builders, handyman, and trades professionals such as electricians and plumbers. We offer exceptional quality products at a significant discount compared to most retailers and vendors.

Our business includes over 40000 happy customers, a 100,000 sf showroom in Louisville, KY, a strong back-office team in India, and our outbound remote sales team in the Philippines. Our vision is to build 50 showrooms across the US in the next 10 years - dominating the home building and remodeling business segment.

Your initial primary focus will be recruiting SDRs/BDRs for our sales team that will be making 150-200 calls per day to our various customers. These SDRs/BDRs are tough to find. They are the very best performers on most sales teams and companies attempt to do whatever it takes to keep them. These individuals are driven, focused on earning top dollar, and do whatever is required to meet their quotas and KPIs. Our goal is build a team of these high performers, not sacrificing our standards to build an average or mediocre. Even though this role has high standards and strong KPIs, only recruiters who want to be part of the very best will be attracted to this role. You'll have a tremendous confidence level about your ability to hunt - to find, engage, and recruit great sales talent.

We are seeking an aggressive recruiter that loves hunting - through cold calling/messaging on LinkedIn, and referrals. We do run job advertisements - however, our experience is that we only fill about 10-20 percent of our openings through advertising and job board resumes. The majority of candidates meeting our high standards comes from hunting through tools like LinkedIn Recruiter.

We are not seeking an HR administrative recruiter to just process ad responses and schedule interviews. This is a fast-paced, high volume recruiting role requiring 80 percent of your day - 7 hours each day on the phone actively hunting - to be reaching out to candidates and presenting at least 8 viable candidates for interviewing to our Chief Talent Officer on a weekly basis. This expectation and high result will lead us to hiring a recruiter that is not working a shift or watching the clock, but rather is willing to work as hard as required to meet that result of 8 endorsements or recommendations per week of sales candidates.

You'll help 10X the company revenue targets over the next 2-3 years as we dramatically scale and build our sales teams in India, the Philippines and in the US.

If a direct sourcing and recruiting role gets you excited - you love the puzzle and hunt of finding and talking with great people - especially sales professionals - and you're willing to work harder than 90 percent of your peers in recruiting - in return for a high incentive role based on your efforts, time investment, and success - then this might be a role worthy of exploring.

On the other hand, if you're seeking a passive, non-impactful, back-office, HR or administrative job where you only work a precise shift of 8 hours to get the minimum done in your job - don't bother applying - you most likely fail in the first 30 days.
