Permit to Work System Execution Ensure that all relevant work permits (e.g., Hot Work, Working at Height, Confined Space, Electrical Isolation) are properly issued and valid before starting any work. Carefully read and sign the Permit to Work, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and safety briefing records. Perform work strictly within the timeframe, scope, and control measures specified in the permit. 2. Work Execution Execute tasks in full compliance with the safety briefing, work procedures, and approved work method statements. Use tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly; do not change work methods without authorization. Do not leave the workplace without permission or perform any work beyond the approved scope. 3. Safety Responsibilities Strictly comply with site HSE management regulations; actively identify and control work-related risks. Stop work immediately and report to the supervisor if any abnormal condition, hazard, or non-compliance is found during operations. Exercise Stop Work Authority (SWA) when necessary and do not resume work until unsafe conditions are rectified. 4. Pre-Job Meetings & Safety Briefings Attend pre-job meetings, toolbox talks, and safety briefings on time. Proactively ask questions and ensure clear understanding of work tasks and potential hazards. 5. Communication & Coordination Maintain effective communication with the Permit Holder, Watchman, and Safety Officer. Cooperate with other roles and parties involved to ensure orderly and safe operations at the worksite. 6. Environmental Protection & Housekeeping Dispose of waste and leftover materials properly as per requirements to prevent environmental pollution. Clean up the work area promptly after work completion and maintain site tidiness. 7. Work Preparation & Closure Ensure that barricades, warning signs, lighting, and other protective measures are in place before starting work. Return tools and equipment on time after work and participate in the permit closure process as required. Preferred candidate profile Technical diploma or above, major in Safety, Petrochemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields preferred. Familiar with Permit to Work procedures and relevant safety regulations in the oil & gas construction industry. Experience in issuing Hot Work, Working at Height, Confined Space permits, and on-site safety management is an advantage. Strong sense of responsibility with good hazard identification, site coordination, and teamwork skills.
