Job Summary:

RF Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and optimization of microwave-based RF systems, including phased array antenna architectures and transceiver baseband for SAR applications.
• Conduct comprehensive RF link budgeting suited for SAR mission requirements, considering path loss, system gain, noise, and dynamic range.
• Develop and refine antenna systems for high-frequency X-Band with attention to polarization, beamforming, and space-grade reliability.
• Execute advanced electromagnetic simulations using Matlab, Dassault CST Studio, or equivalent tools, focusing on array pattern, SAR resolution, and mutual coupling.
• Plan and perform measurements in anechoic chambers, using signal generators, spectrum/network analyzers, and calibration routines to validate antenna parameters and overall system RF performance.

·      Prepare detailed technical documentation covering simulation results, measurement outcomes, compliance reports, and system recommendations.

·      Support technology upgrade initiatives, innovating with state-of-the-art microwave techniques and digital processing relevant for SAR and spaceborne antennas.

Required Educational and Technical Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or Wireless Communications (Master’s preferred)

Solid understanding of microwave and RF circuit design, particularly for radar front ends and phased array antennas.

• Experience with industry-standard RF and network planning tools (e.g., TEMS, CST Studio, Actix, Atoll, MapInfo), as well as hands-on work with spectrum analysis and antenna characterization.
• Competence in RF integration and troubleshooting, collaborating with hardware/embedded/software teams to achieve design robustness and electromagnetic compatibility for space-qualified sensors.
• Knowledge of spectrum management, regulatory compliance and space-frequency allocations relevant to SAR payloads.
• Basic theoretical knowledge, simulation proficiency, and experimental validation skills applied to space radar engineering
