JOB PURPOSE Quality Assurance engineer will be responsible to write and execute manual and automated tests for ensuring product quality & will be designing and implementing tests, debug and making corrective actions. Candidate will be leading the activity in the domain. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES – Creating and designing application and software testing processes Monitor system and software functionality Develop and maintain automated test scripts for embedded systems Automated testing and problem-solving of various tasks that work towards a development process Advise best practices and optimizations throughout testing and bug-fixing processes Collaborate with software QA leads to develop test plans and new approaches for seeking out bugs and exploits in end-user-facing applications Establish and implement rigorous reporting and automated monitoring systems Manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions Keep track of quality metrics Verify that the final product meets the requirement Analyze product features and suggest changes to enhance them to make them more efficient and user friendly Implement feedback and changes whenever possible Identify, document, and track defects found during testing Provide technical support to customers for software products SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Strong understanding of software development life cycle and software testing methodologies Experience with test planning, test case development, test automation, and defect tracking Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C, C++ and Python scripting Experience with test automation tools for software quality assurance Familiarity with agile development methodologies and experience working in an agile environment Experience working in Linux environment is more advantage Educational Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electronics and communications or a related field.
