Key Responsibilities: • Procurement & Sourcing o Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for composite materials, resins, fibers, adhesives, and consumables. o Issue purchase requisitions, RFQs, and purchase orders in alignment with company policies. o Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to optimize cost and quality. • Supplier & Vendor Management o Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships for long-term collaboration. o Monitor vendor performance in terms of quality, delivery, and compliance. o Ensure suppliers meet AS9100, aerospace/defense, and company-specific quality standards. • Inventory & Material Management o Track inventory levels and coordinate with stores to prevent shortages or overstock. o Support MRP (Material Requirement Planning) and ensure Just-in-Time (JIT) procurement for critical projects. o Liaise with production, quality, and engineering teams to align procurement with project schedules. • Compliance & Documentation o Ensure procurement documentation complies with internal processes, ISO/AS9100, and customer requirements. o Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, agreements, and vendor certifications. o Handle import/export documentation for specialized composite materials as required. • Cost & Process Optimization o Support cost reduction initiatives through alternate sourcing, bulk buying, or strategic procurement. o Assist in developing procurement strategies for aerospace and defense projects. o Continuously improve procurement processes for efficiency and reliability.
