Position Overview:

The SCM (Procurement) Executive will be responsible for handling procurement activities within the Supply Chain Management department. The role involves sourcing raw materials, composites, consumables, tools, and indirect items while ensuring compliance with quality standards, cost efficiency, and timely delivery to support production and project requirements. The executive will collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and logistics partners to maintain a smooth supply chain flow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement & Sourcing o Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for composite materials, resins, fibers, adhesives, and consumables. o Issue purchase requisitions, RFQs, and purchase orders in alignment with company policies. o Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to optimize cost and quality. • Supplier & Vendor Management o Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships for long-term collaboration. o Monitor vendor performance in terms of quality, delivery, and compliance. o Ensure suppliers meet AS9100, aerospace/defense, and company-specific quality standards. • Inventory & Material Management o Track inventory levels and coordinate with stores to prevent shortages or overstock. o Support MRP (Material Requirement Planning) and ensure Just-in-Time (JIT) procurement for critical projects. o Liaise with production, quality, and engineering teams to align procurement with project schedules.• Compliance & Documentation o Ensure procurement documentation complies with internal processes, ISO/AS9100, and customer requirements. o Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, agreements, and vendor certifications. o Handle import/export documentation for specialized composite materials as required. • Cost & Process Optimization o Support cost reduction initiatives through alternate sourcing, bulk buying, or strategic procurement. o Assist in developing procurement strategies for aerospace and defense projects. o Continuously improve procurement processes for efficiency and reliability.
