Job description:
· Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001, or customer-specific standards
· Manage incoming, in-process, and final inspection processes.
· Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts (CAPA) for internal and customer-reported defects
· Work closely with production, engineering, and tool design teams to resolve quality issues and improve product consistency
· Coordinate internal and external quality audits.
· Collect, analyze, and report quality data (PPAP, FMEA, SPC, 8D, etc.)
· Train and mentor quality engineers, inspectors, and operators in quality procedures and standards
Skills:
· Strong knowledge of HPDC processes, casting defects, and quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA)
· Familiar with ISO 9001, and customer-specific quality systems
· Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills
· Proficiency with quality software tools and ERP systems preferred
Qualification:
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
· Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality management role within a die casting
