Description
We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team in Mumbai (On-site). This role is ideal for a mid-level quality assurance professional (3+ years of experience) with expertise in web, cloud-based, and mobile application testing. You will work closely with the development and product teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software through rigorous testing, automation, and process improvements. This role requires hands-on experience in manual and automated testing for both web and mobile applications, covering functional, performance, API, and security testing while integrating with modern CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks. Responsibilities: • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, API, cloud-based, and mobile applications (Android & iOS). • Perform functional, regression, integration, UI, and performance testing to ensure application stability. • Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks for web and mobile applications. • Work with development teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. • Track, analyze, and report defects, test results, and quality metrics using defect tracking tools. • Ensure adherence to software quality assurance best practices and security guidelines. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and continuously improve software quality. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 3+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance. • Strong expertise in manual and automated testing methodologies. • Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) and performance testing tools. • Understanding of CI/CD, version control (Git), and defect tracking systems. • Exposure to cloud-based testing, security testing, and mobile testing strategies. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. • Certifications such as ISTQB Foundation Level, Agile Tester, or equivalent are a plus. • This is an on-site role based in Mumbai.
