Job Description We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team in Mumbai (On-site). This role is ideal for a mid-level quality assurance professional (3+ years of experience) with expertise in web, cloud-based, and mobile application testing. You will work closely with the development and product teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software through rigorous testing, automation, and process improvements. This role requires hands-on experience in manual and automated testing for both web and mobile applications, covering functional, performance, API, and security testing while integrating with modern CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks. Responsibilities Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, API, cloud-based, and mobile applications (Android & iOS). Perform functional, regression, integration, UI, and performance testing to ensure application stability. Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks for web and mobile applications. Work with development teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. Track, analyze, and report defects, test results, and quality metrics using defect tracking tools. Ensure adherence to software quality assurance best practices and security guidelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and continuously improve software quality. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance. Strong expertise in manual and automated testing methodologies. Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) and performance testing tools. Understanding of CI/CD, version control (Git), and defect tracking systems. Exposure to cloud-based testing, security testing, and mobile testing strategies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Certifications such as ISTQB Foundation Level, Agile Tester, or equivalent are a plus.
