Quality Engineer

Job Purpose:

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring quality standards in construction activities, materials, and workmanship at project sites, in line with approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and ensure quality control of construction works at site (civil, finishing, and MEP as applicable)
• Inspect materials, workmanship, and construction methods to ensure compliance with approved specifications and standards
• Conduct regular site inspections, quality audits, and snag list preparation
• Ensure implementation of QA/QC procedures and quality plans
• Coordinate with project, execution, and contractor teams to resolve quality-related issues
• Maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, checklists, and records
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and statutory requirements
• Identify defects and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions
• Support handover and final inspection processes

Desired Candidate Profile:

• BE/BTech/Diploma in Civil Engineering
• 4+ years of experience in Real Estate Developer or Construction Company
• Strong knowledge of RCC, finishing works, waterproofing, and materials
• Familiarity with IS codes, quality standards, and construction best practices
• Experience in residential/commercial real estate projects preferred
• Good coordination, reporting, and communication skills
