Quality Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain test plan and test cases for various software applications and systems.
• Collaborate with developers, POs, stakeholders to understand requirement and create comprehensive test plans.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to validate software functionality and performance.
• Analyze test results, identify defects and report issues to the development team for timely resolution.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process, identifying areas for test case execution optimization to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Work closely with other team members to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in testing tools, technologies, and best practices.
• Provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Proactively identify potential risks and issues related to software quality and propose mitigation strategies.
• Develop and execute automated regression tests to validate software changes and ensure existing functionality remains intact.
• Validate test data effectively, ensuring its relevance and accuracy for different test scenarios.
  

• Knowledge of Bell BRS products; OrderMax/Call Centre experience is a bonus. Proven experience in manual and automated testing, including hands-on experience with industry-standard testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Copado Robotic Testing, Selenium, etc.).
• Ability to write and maintain automated test scripts. In depth knowledge of software testing concepts, including test planning, test design, test execution, and test reporting
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies/development lifecycle, especially Agile
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and diagnose software defects
• Ability to retrieve logs and read SOAP UI XML/JSON requests and responses. Must be familiar with tools such as POSTMAN and JIRA, XRAY in Agile
