Quality Control Engineer

Requirement:

Qualification: BSC, BE Mechanical, Chemical

Candidates residing In Mumbai, Vasai virar preferred.

Job Responsibilities

· Testing of Raw Material, Packing Material, Finished Goods, Outsourced Products & completing within stipulated time assigned.

· Maintaining documentation of the test results in standard format & reporting to superior.

· Maintaining all test procedures and Standards for Incoming material and Outgoing material.

· Taking part actively in 5S.

· Maintaining test equipment’s for correct results.

· Adhering with the Ecology, Health and Safety (EHS) norms of the organization.

· ISO 9001 related documentation

· Timely reporting the management as & when required regarding any Change in raw material, process of production, Test reports etc.. if gets changed from Coating and Converting Department.

· Preparing Costing parameters and helping in BOM documents.

· Assist the Production head in technical terms of new product development. PM / Compression reports and necessary test results.

· Ensure quality of products/process to enhance customer satisfaction and testing of all outgoing goods before dispatch.

· Develop and manage quality systems-Regular Audits (Internal).

· Reduce cost of poor quality at incoming, in process and outgoing stage.

· Evaluating current production and manufacturing efficiencies, Implementing product/ manufacturing specification

· Generate product data sheets and MSDS specifications.

· Make process and System to reduce rejection and Wastage during the production.

· Researching industry technicalities and compliance regulations.

· Handle Rejection / Objection from Customer for dispatched material and help sales/mktg team for technical points and if required to visit customers and suppliers for solving the issue.

· Make CAPA reports for each rejection and Problem in Coating and Converting Department.

· Help machine operators/ technician while operation or maintenance of CNC /PLC - Electronic driven machine.

· Looking after running production and take appropriate action in case of any discrepancies.

· Major involvement in cost cutting planning (overall reduction of 10% annual target)

· Training of workers of all departments (technical machine training) for reducing wastage & rejection.

For New Sample Development

· Analysis of sample with All input data – Application / Surface details

· Make Data

· Make equivalent samples with test reports

· All test parameters as per Customers need or as per standard Specification has to Carry

· After approval from QC and make Costing Sheet with BOM ( BILL OF MATERIAL)

· Prepare Costing sheet for approval to management.

· Finally Selling price need to decide as per total qty, wastage factors and risk factor ( rejection)

Smooth signing off of project and timely approval customer

· Plan and carry out design validation

· Ensure inspection and analytical support during scaling up

· Approve new product and process through designed experimentation

· Enter into agreement with customers on specification

· Plan, Coordinate and get customer approval for new products / process

· Control point: on time customer approvals

Increase TQM score

· Facilitate officers and business process on problem solving

· Bring in system approach in business process

· Review TQM progress and propose ideas for further improvements

Development of alternative sources for raw material

· Establish system to develop new vendor

· Establish system for continuously improving the capability of vendors

· Review vendor performance and recommend on future plans

· Establish system for speedy approval of alternative / new materials

· Control point: process capability with alternative raw materials.

Harmonization of QA system with other units

· Create a robust system through study of all units systems.

· Explore the effects of the new system with other units.

· Carry out pilot studies with the proposed system.

· Review with other units and implement in all units.

· Establish audits for maintaining the system implemented.

Ensuring Knowledge up gradation of the QA team

· Gain domain & statistical and knowledge by carrying out “silver” level projects.

· Understand the relationship of product characteristics VS end product performance

· Train the team on new developments

· Empower people through improved daily management.

Salary: 20000- 25000 pm.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
