The Quality Civil Engineer ensures all construction projects adhere to specified standards, design drawings, and regulatory requirements by implementing robust quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) measures, preventing defects, and maintaining project integrity. Key Responsibilities Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections (roads, foundations, grading) and material testing (concrete, soil) to verify compliance. Documentation: Prepare detailed inspection reports, quality audits, material approvals, and non-conformance reports (NCRs). Quality Management: Implement & monitor Quality Management Systems (QMS), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and project quality procedures. Compliance: Ensure adherence to project specifications, Indian Standards (IS codes), and environmental regulations. Reporting: Submit progress reports, analyze quality data, and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). Collaboration: Work with site teams, contractors, and stakeholders, providing technical input on quality matters. Risk Management: Identify potential quality risks and develop early warning systems. Qualifications & Skills Education: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering. Experience: 2-5+ years in civil construction/QA/QC. Technical Skills: Strong grasp of construction materials, processes, AutoCAD, MS Project, IS Codes (e.g., IS:456, IS:800). Soft Skills: Analytical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, leadership, and site supervision.
