🔹 Role Overview
We are urgently looking for a Quality Control Engineer to join MTA Architects’ Design & Build team.
The ideal candidate must be capable of maintaining all QC documentation, ensuring site quality standards, reviewing method statements, validating material Technical Data Sheets (TDS), and coordinating with site engineers, vendors and the project manager to achieve quality compliance on all projects.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
1. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain daily, weekly and monthly QC reports for all ongoing sites.
Prepare and update QA/QC checklists, pour cards, inspection sheets, snag reports, and quality logs.
Ensure all site quality documents are properly filed, controlled, and accessible.
2. Method Statements & Work Procedures
Review and validate Method Statements (WMS) for civil, interior, finishing, MEP and architectural works.
Ensure the team follows approved methodology to avoid rework and deviations.
Provide clarification to site engineers on sequence of works, quality standards, and approved procedures.
3. Material Quality Verification
Review and verify Technical Data Sheets (TDS), product certifications, sample approvals, and manufacturer guidelines.
Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure materials received match approved TDS / submittals.
Conduct quality checks for cement, sand, aggregates, blocks, tiles, marble, wood, paint, steel, waterproofing chemical, MEP materials, etc.
4. Site Inspections & Quality Assurance
Carry out regular site inspections and ensure all works meet design, drawing and quality requirements.
Highlight deviations immediately and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
Check workmanship for shuttering, reinforcement, concrete, plastering, tile-laying, carpentry, joinery, painting, electrical & plumbing works.
5. Coordination & Communication
Work closely with Project Manager, Site Engineers, MEP Engineers, Safety Officer, and subcontractors.
Report quality issues promptly and monitor closure of NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).
Attend site meetings and provide technical inputs when required.
6. Testing & Monitoring
Coordinate material testing with third-party labs where required.
Monitor concrete tests, cube reports, soil testing, waterproofing test, and finishing quality.
Maintain calibration and testing records.

Strong knowledge in QA/QC procedures, methodology statements, and TDS review.
Ability to prepare checklists, inspection reports, and documentation accurately.
Good understanding of civil, interior and MEP quality standards.
Excellent communication skills for site coordination.
Ability to work under pressure and meet quality deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
🔹 Qualifications
Diploma / B.E. in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline.
5+ years of experience in Quality Control for construction/interiors.
Knowledge of IS Codes, quality standards, method statements, and finishing works is essential.
Experience in Design & Build / Residential / Data centres / MNC costruction sites / Commercial interior projects preferred.
