The QA Head will own the overall Quality Assurance function across all MVNO projects, leading a team of 22 QA professionals. This role requires hands-on leadership in managing QA strategy, test automation (AccelQ), process maturity, and quality governance while aligning with dynamic and fast-changing business needs.
Leadership & Team Management:
• Lead and mentor a QA team of 22, including leads, manual, and automation testers.
• Define roles, responsibilities, and growth plans for all QA team members.
• Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Manage multi-project QA timelines and resource allocation effectively.
• Define, implement, and continuously improve QA processes, standards, and metrics.
• Build a structured QA framework covering requirement analysis, test planning, test execution, and post-release verification.
• Ensure test case management, version control, and traceability across projects.
• Drive defect pattern analysis, root cause identification, and preventive actions.
• Own and drive the automation strategy using AccelQ.
• Ensure optimal balance between automation and manual testing based on project needs.
• Oversee test automation coverage, regression testing, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Align QA timelines with project delivery milestones.
• Handle rapid requirement changes, context switching, and overlapping project schedules.
• Manage stakeholder expectations across Product, Development, and Operations.
• Oversee QA deliverables for staging, UAT, and production rollouts.
• Establish and track QA KPIs (defect leakage, automation coverage, cycle time, etc.).
• Publish regular quality dashboards and project health reports to leadership.
• Review and approve QA sign-offs for release readiness.
• Act as the Quality Gatekeeper across all project releases.
• Build scalable QA practices for future MVNO platform rollouts.
• Introduce tools, technologies, and best practices to improve efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering heads to drive quality from design to delivery.
• 12+ years of experience in QA, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
• Proven track record in managing large QA teams and multi-project deliveries.
• Strong knowledge of automation frameworks (preferably AccelQ).
• Deep understanding of telecom/MVNO systems, APIs, and integrations.
• Experience in Agile/DevOps environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with focus on metrics, RCA, and continuous improvement.
• Resilient under high-pressure, multi-context switching environments.
