Key Responsibilities - Develop, execute, and maintain test cases and plans based on business and technical requirements. Perform functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing for web and mobile applications. Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using JIRA, Trello, or other bug-tracking tools. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to improve software quality. Verify bug fixes and validate deployments during release cycles. Provide feedback on UI/UX, performance, and overall user experience. Maintain detailed test documentation and contribute to improving QA processes. Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives in an Agile development environment. Technical Skills 3+ years of experience in manual software testing, preferably for a SaaS or web-based application. Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Expertise in functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing for web and mobile applications. Proficiency in bug tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar platforms. Experience with test case design, execution, and defect reporting. Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation. Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman. Understanding of cross-browser and responsive testing for web applications. Ability to create detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports. Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and participation in sprint cycles. Experience in UI/UX testing and providing usability feedback. Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify potential risks and edge cases. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to think like an end user. Strong verbal and written communication skills to work closely with developers and product teams. Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment with evolving priorities. A collaborative mindset and willingness to take initiative to improve processes. Good To Have (Bonus Skills) Basic knowledge of test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.). Familiarity with performance testing and load testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and testing in DevOps environments. Understanding of mobile app testing for iOS and Android.
