Quality Assurance Manager – Lead Battery Production

As we expand our operations, we’re seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead our QA function for lead battery production and drive world-class standards across our manufacturing lines.

• Shape and enforce quality systems that impact industries nationwide
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—production, R&D, supply chain, and customer support

• Minimum 15+ years’ experience in quality assurance within lead battery manufacturing
• Proven expertise in implementing and managing quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of battery manufacturing processes, quality control, electrical testing and regulatory compliance
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop QA teams
• Experience with root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement tools (Six Sigma, Lean, 8D, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with audits, supplier quality, and customer complaint resolution
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills

• Ensure all products meet or exceed internal and customer quality standards
• Achieve zero-defect targets and drive reduction in process non-conformities
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements
• Lead the QA team to deliver on KPIs and foster a culture of quality excellence

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve quality assurance strategies, systems, and SOPs for lead battery production
• Oversee daily QA operations: inspections, testing, audits, and documentation
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for quality issues
• Monitor and analyze quality metrics, reporting trends and improvement plans to management
• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring readiness and compliance
• Train and mentor QA staff, building a high-performance team
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain to resolve quality challenges and support new product introductions
• Represent Microtex Energy in customer audits, industry forums, and regulatory inspections
