What we're looking for:

  • Strong portfolio of industry relationships (MHE, Power, Utilities)
  • Minimum 

    15+ years

     of proven success in 

    industrial battery sales

  • Deep industry relationships: OEMs, EPCs, Distributors, Government & PSU buyers
  • Strong track record in 

    institutional and channel sales

  • Experience in traction, solar, telecom, or substation battery verticals is a big plus
  • Job is on-site at our factory in Bengaluru

The ideal candidate will be capable of creating effective marketing strategies that assist the efforts of sales teams and generate additional leads. This candidate should be comfortable creating collaterals & content to aid the sales teams and have an ability to evaluate a marketing campaign to guarantee the best outcome. Additionally, this candidate should have a good understanding of the goals of various salespeople and ultimately operate as a close business partner. 

 

Accountability:

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets across assigned industrial battery verticals and regions.
  • Drive market expansion and customer acquisition in targeted sectors (MHE, Golf carts & Semi-traction, Power Generation, Nuclear, Thermal, Hydro, etc.).
  • Ensure profitable growth and sustained market share increase for Microtex Energy.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to maximize plant capacity utilization.
  • Identify and secure new institutional, OEM, and channel partners.
  • Build and nurture key customer relationships to generate repeat and referral business.
  • Lead and mentor the sales team to deliver on KPIs.
  • Monitor competitor activity and adapt strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence updates for management.
  • Represent Microtex Energy at industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and ethical standards in all sales and marketing activities.
