Quality Assurance Manager

We are looking for a seasoned QA Automation Manager with 10–12 years of experience to lead a team of 30+ QA professionals across multiple client engagements. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, technical, and communication skills. This role involves overseeing quality strategy, managing stakeholder communications, and building scalable test automation frameworks using modern tools and practices. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality products across multiple domains and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of 30+ QA engineers across multiple projects and clients.

Define and implement QA strategy, test plans, and automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.

Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients to manage requirements, risks, and project deliverables.

Build and maintain modular, reusable, and scalable test automation frameworks from scratch.

Manage QA deliverables across the SDLC, including planning, execution, defect triaging, and reporting.

Align automation efforts with CI/CD pipelines for faster and more reliable releases.

Continuously evaluate and adopt the latest tools, frameworks, and practices to improve QA efficiency and coverage.

Provide mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback to QA engineers.

Facilitate resource planning, effort estimation, and risk mitigation strategies across concurrent projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

10–12 years of total QA experience with at least 3–4 years in a leadership or managerial role.

Strong hands-on experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks.

Proficiency in one or more automation frameworks/tools such as:

Robot Framework

Selenium / WebDriver

Cypress

Playwright

Appium (for mobile)

Postman / REST Assured (for API testing)

Scripting/programming knowledge in Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar.

Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, defect management, and Agile practices.

Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).

Excellent communication skills with experience managing client interactions.

Proven ability to manage large QA teams across distributed environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and test environments in cloud-based deployments.

Exposure to performance and security testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, OWASP ZAP).

QA certifications such as ISTQB are a plus.

Prior experience working with international clients across time zones.
