Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and understand software requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, UI/UX, and exploratory testing.
  • Log detailed bug reports in tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Conduct sanity and post-deployment testing in staging and production environments.
  • Ensure test coverage and traceability using RTM (Requirement Traceability Matrix).
  • Maintain and update testing documentation based on changes in requirements or Skills & Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in manual software testing.
  • Strong knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
  • Experience testing web and mobile applications across various browsers and devices.
  • Good understanding of databases and ability to write basic SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum to Have :
  • Exposure to API testing using tools like Postman.
  • Knowledge of basic automation testing concepts.
