As a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer, you play a crucial role in defining and implementing quality assurance and testing processes within our organization. Your extensive experience in software quality enables you to drive strategic initiatives that enhance product quality, testing efficiency, and continuous improvement. Working within a software engineering team, you are responsible for writing and executing manual test scripts for new releases. You are an integral part of our cross-team QA Clan, involved in assessing the system's current state and shaping the future QA strategy. This includes testing existing functionality, ensuring proper QA for future development, and evaluating testing tools and practices. Your responsibilities include collaborating with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define test objectives, scope, and timelines. You develop detailed test plans, cases, and scenarios to validate software functionality, performance, and security. Through manual testing, you verify software functionality, detect defects, and maintain quality standards. Analyzing test results, you identify areas for improvement and enhance testing processes, methodologies, and tools. Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams ensures alignment between testing activities and project goals. Supporting stakeholders with any encountered issues and maintaining product documentation are also part of your role. Qualifications: - Minimum 3 years of experience in Test/QA or similar roles, particularly with software applications. - Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. - Experience in test-driven development, unit testing, and UI testing tools like Cypress. - Familiarity with Scrum or similar agile methodologies. - Excellent English communication skills. - Strong organizational skills, multitasking ability, and prioritization in a fast-paced environment. - Experience with BDD, Cucumber, Gherkin, web application development, and test automation is advantageous. - Relevant certification (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus. Joining one of our software engineering teams, you will be responsible for creating and executing test scripts for the new features being developed. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, define test objectives, scope, and timelines, and ensure the quality and comprehension of complex business requirements. Additionally, as part of our cross-team QA Clan, you will be actively involved in assessing the current system state and shaping the future QA strategy. This includes testing existing functionality, establishing proper QA practices for future development, and evaluating the tools and methodologies used for testing. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define test plans, cases, and scenarios, executing manual and automated tests to validate software functionality, analyzing test results to enhance testing processes, developing automated test scripts, and ensuring alignment between testing activities and project goals.
