Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual Testing

As a Test Engineer, your role involves the following responsibilities: - Designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on functional and business requirements. - Conducting manual testing of mobile (iOS and Android) and web-based trading/FinTech applications. - Performing functional, integration, regression, UI/UX, and end-to-end testing across multiple environments. - Validating financial transactions, trade flows, and data consistency across back-end and front-end systems. You will be responsible for defect management by: - Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar. - Working closely with the development team to reproduce, isolate, and resolve defects. - Participating in regular bug review and triage meetings. In domain-specific testing, you will: - Verify trade execution, order matching, portfolio management, risk, and settlement functionalities. - Ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance of financial data. Your qualifications should include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. - Strong understanding of trading workflows and experience testing Mobile Apps (iOS & Android) and Web applications. - Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). - Proficiency with QA tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar. - Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools (basic level desirable). - Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to identify edge cases. - Excellent communication and documentation skills. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
