We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Quality Analyst Manual with 5+ years of experience in testing web and API-based applications.The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in manual testing methodologies, API validation, and SQL-based data testing.This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver flawless software releases.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for new and existing features.
Conduct functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing to ensure product quality.
Perform API testing using tools like Postman and validate RESTful endpoints.
Write and execute SQL queries to validate backend data and ensure data integrity.
Identify, log, and track defects using test management tools such as Jira and Zephyr.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of Agile/Scrum cycles.
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.
Document test results, user scenarios, and quality metrics clearly and accurately.

Core Technical Skills (Must Have)

Manual Testing Expertise : Functional, regression, UAT, and exploratory testing.
API Testing Tools : Proficiency in Postman or similar tools for REST API testing.
SQL Skills : Ability to write and execute queries for data validation and backend testing.
Test Management Tools : Experience with Jira, Zephyr, or equivalent.
Agile/Scrum : Familiarity with sprint-based testing and continuous feedback cycles.
Problem Solving : Strong analytical and debugging skills with attention to detail.

Good To Have Skills

Basic understanding of automation tools like Selenium or Playwright.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
Awareness of cloud-based environments such as AWS or Azure.
