About the Role

The QA Engineer will be responsible for validating the quality, scalability, and reliability of SaaS-based web applications, backend databases, and data-driven systems. The role requires hands-on expertise in automation frameworks, cloud-based testing, and performance monitoring. Candidates will contribute to the full QA lifecycle— manual, automation, and continuous validation—ensuring seamless end-user experiences. You will drive robust test strategies across SaaS platforms, leverage automation tools like Puppeteer and Playwright, create observability dashboards using Grafana, and collaborate closely with development and DevOps teams for CI/CD integration.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional, regression, and exploration testing of SaaS-based web applications.

• Perform backend database testing including data integrity, migration, and query validation.

• Validate search functionality leveraging Elastic Search.

• Design and maintain Grafana dashboards for monitoring test outcomes and performance KPIs.

• Implement and execute automation testing frameworks using Puppeteer and Playwright.

• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate test automation within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).

• Ensure comprehensive test coverage across cloud environments (AWS/Azure).

• Document defects with clarity and collaboration with developers for timely resolution.

• Continuously optimize QA processes for speed, accuracy, and scalability.

Skill Set Required:

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience in SaaS product web application testing.

• Hands-on expertise in backend database testing.

• Working knowledge of Elastic Search validation.

• Ability to create and maintain Grafana charts/dashboards.

• Automation testing expertise using Puppeteer and Playwright.

• Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure environments.

• Strong working knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience testing LLM-based agents and AI-driven systems. Tools Knowledge:

• Automation: Puppeteer, Playwright.

• Observability: Grafana, Elastic Search.

• CI/CD: Jenkins.

• Cloud: AWS, Azure.

• Issue Tracking: JIRA.

• Documentation: Confluence.

Qualifications and Certifications:

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related fields.

• 4+ years of hands-on QA testing experience across SaaS/web applications.

• 2+ years of automation testing using Puppeteer/Playwright.

• Experience in backend database and search engine testing (Elastic Search).

• Cloud exposure in AWS/Azure environments.

• Certifications in QA/Automation/Cloud (preferred).
