About the Role:

Manual QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze system specifications and business requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle
Design and execute test cases (manual) for web and mobile platforms
Perform regression, functional, integration, and UI testing for e-commerce features
Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar
Validate fixes and conduct re-testing as needed
Work closely with developers and product managers to resolve issues
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5–7 years of experience as a Manual QA Tester
Proven experience testing
e-commerce platforms or applications
Strong understanding of
SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle
Hands-on experience with
test case management tools
(e.g., TestRail, Zephyr)
Experience working with issue tracking tools like JIRA
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Familiarity with cross-browser and mobile testing

Nice to Have:

Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools
Familiarity with databases and ability to write basic SQL queries
Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus but not required
Exposure to platforms like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or custom-built e-commerce systems
