Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for Test Automation engineer with 2+ years of experience in developing test suites using a variety of automation tools and designing test automation frameworks. The Automation Engineer will collaborate closely with the Development team while utilizing strong automation and test skills in an agile environment. About You – Experience, Education, Skills, And Accomplishments 2+ years industry experience in test automation. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (or similar) Experience with Java/Python Basic knowledge on SQL query Experience with HTML/CSS REST API Design and Development Experience with Automation Framework Experience with GUI, Web testing Experience of working within an Agile delivery environment. Understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Continuous Deployment Experience working with various test development and test management tools. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to new technologies Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills It would be great if you also have: Should have knowledge and experience in REST API Automation and testing(Rest Assured framework) Any Automation tools like selenium webdriver Should understand Java coding and be able to understand code JMeter is added advantage What will you be doing in this role? Contribute to the creation and maintenance of API or UI tests Writes quality, well-tested, documented code. Adheres to development best practices and standards as set within the team. Helps support existing systems, diagnosing issues and identifying bugs. Work closely with developers to improve testability of our mobile applications Works closely with QA, DevOps, Product Owners, Business Analysts and Project Management. Adheres to Agile development practices and aid the team in doing so. About The Team The MAI is a part of the ‘HDS’ within the Life Sciences division of Clarivate. The ~10 Technology team members work closely with Product and Project Management across a number of solutions.
