Key Responsibilities: 1. Oversee day-to-day operations of the bus body manufacturing process. 2. Plan and manage production schedules to meet project deadlines and customer requirements. 3. Coordinate with design, procurement, quality control, and logistics teams for smooth workflow. 4. Ensure adherence to industry standards (AIS, CMVR, BIS) and company quality protocols. 5. Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques. 6. Optimize resource utilization – manpower, machinery, and materials. 7. Lead a team of supervisors, technicians, and workers, ensuring discipline and productivity. 8. Monitor production output, manage bottlenecks, and resolve operational issues. 9. Maintain safety norms and compliance with workplace safety regulations. 10. Report daily production progress and challenges to higher management. Skills: Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, understanding of modern production systems, knowledge of tools and hands-on knowledge of production materials, welding, fitting, electrical and painting processes in vehicle body building. Experience:Proven track record in bus body fabrication & bus body building industry is a must.
