QA Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium for UI testing.
• Design and implement API automation frameworks using Rest Assured for REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Conduct performance testing using tools like JMeter, Postman, and LoadRunner to evaluate system scalability and stability.
• Perform manual testing of complex applications built on microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to define and implement quality standards.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and report defects with detailed documentation.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and execution reports.

Required Skills:

• 6+ years of experience in QA/testing roles with a focus on both manual and automated testing.
• Proficiency in Java programming and experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Hands-on experience in API testing and automation using Rest Assured.
• Strong understanding of GraphQL APIs including query testing and schema validation.
• Solid experience in performance testing using JMeter, Postman (for basic load testing), and LoadRunner.
• Experience with microservices-based applications and distributed systems testing.
• Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
• Working knowledge of Git, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
