Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Assistant supports the QA team in ensuring that products and processes meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves assisting in inspections, documentation, audits, and data analysis to maintain consistent product quality. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and committed to upholding quality practices across departments. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Testing & validation:

  Conducting functional, performance, reliability, and compatibility tests on drone electronic components and systems. 

• Quality Inspections:

  Performing visual and functional inspections of electronic parts, PCBs, and assembled drone systems to ensure they meet specifications and standards 

• Defect Analysis:

  Identifying and analyzing defects, malfunctions, and deviations from specifications in drone electronics, and working with engineering teams to resolve issues.  

• Documentation:

  Creating detailed test reports, defect reports, and other quality documentation to track the status of drone electronics and facilitate quality control.  

• Collaboration:

  Working closely with design, development, and production teams to ensure quality standards are integrated throughout the drone's lifecycle.  

• Process Improvement:

  Identifying areas for improvement in drone electronics manufacturing and assembly processes, and contributing to the implementation of corrective actions.  

• Compliance:

  Ensuring that drone electronics meet relevant industry standards, regulations, and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications.  

• Drone Systems Knowledge

  : Basic understanding of drone systems, including flight control systems, sensors, and communication systems. 

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. 
• 5-8 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry. 
• Familiarity with QMS, ISO 9001, and other relevant quality standards. 
• Strong attention to detail, with excellent documentation and communication skills. 
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support cross-functional teams. 
• Proficiency in quality tools and software is an advantage.
