Job Description

BSI Financial Services is looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist who will be responsible for monitoring, inspecting and proposing measures to correct or improve an organization's final products in order to meet established quality standards.

What You Will Do

  • Provides quality assurance with direction and guidance necessary to maintain compliance.
  • The primary purpose of these reviews and monitoring is to ensure that executed work is completed in accordance with the established controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Conducts the daily, ongoing quality assurance/control function, including escrow, monetary, loan default, and customer service activity reviews.
  • Reviews, manages, and facilitates remediation (as required) for all monitored processes.
  • Manage SQL illogical condition dashboard to clear all data integrity issues found.
  • Applies knowledge of and remains current on all guidelines.
  • Responsible for meeting legal requirements and following internal policies.
  • Prepare monthly summary reports for various reviews conducted.
  • Trends data, as necessary, to identify areas for potential improvement.
  • Demonstrate collaborative leadership and cross-department communication and coordination.
  • Responsible for communications with auditors and researching findings.
  • Assures adherence to company policies and procedures and federal and state regulatory requirements.
  • Provides cross-functional support to other areas of the department and the Bank where service or assistance is needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in US Mortgage is mandatory - atleast 2+ years
  • Experience in ESCROW or Default is preferred (US Mortgage).
  • Ability to think analytically, understand the business, perform analysis and communicate effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and follow through on projects
  • Collaborates effectively with inter-departmental teams, related to loan boarding, to achieve organizational goals
  • Exhibits strong verbal and written communication skills,
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong Mathematic/Analytical Skills
  • An associate’s degree or higher or 2 years minimum related work experience
