You should be confident working with static frontend architectures , modern component libraries, and building real-time, API-driven user experiences . QA Analyst (Manual + Automation) with Business Analysis Responsibilities Overview We are looking for a QA Analyst who can perform both manual and automated regression testing while also supporting Business Analysis tasks. The role involves testing Ekko’s audio-to-structured-medical-data pipeline, validating UI and JSON outputs, documenting workflows, and working with engineering to ensure feature quality and accuracy. Responsibilities • Execute manual QA testing across core product workflows. • Develop and maintain automated regression test suites (web-based and API). • Use browser automation tools to simulate real user interactions (click-through, input, response validation). • Validate structured medical JSON outputs for correctness (symptoms, prescriptions, dosage, diagnosis, labs, clinical notes). • Create and maintain detailed test cases, test scripts, test data, and test reports. • Identify defects, log them clearly, and follow through to resolution. • Work with engineering to define acceptance criteria and clarify requirements. • Document feature behavior and workflows in Confluence/Notion. • Support UAT and release sign-off processes. Required Skills • Experience in manual testing plus automation testing. • Hands-on experience with UI/browser automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or similar). • Ability to review and validate API and JSON outputs (via Postman/Insomnia). • Strong attention to detail and pattern recognition (especially in text/structured data). • Ability to translate product requirements into clear test scenarios. • Effective written communication for bug reporting and documentation. Good to Have (Optional) • Experience with speech-to-text, NLP systems, or ML-based applications. • Understanding of medical terminology or EMR/EHR workflows. • Experience with Jira or Linear for issue tracking and reporting.
