Quality Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures.
• Identify, record, and track bugs thoroughly with proper documentation.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing across applications.
• Review and analyze system specifications and contribute to test planning.
• Evaluate product code according to specifications and create detailed logs.
• Suggest and implement improvements to enhance software quality.
• Stay current with new testing tools, techniques, and strategies.
• Prepare and present quality reports and metrics to the development team.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test results and defects.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (preferred).
  

Skills

• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
  

Certifications

• ISTQB certification is a plus.
