About the Role

Key Responsibilities

1. Testing & Quality Delivery

• Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive

  test plans, cases, and scripts

  for PMS and WMS platforms.
• Conduct

  functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing

  across modules in Miles and WealthSpectrum.
• Perform

  backend data validation and reconciliation

  using MS SQL or Oracle databases.
• Validate

  end-to-end equity and mutual fund workflows

  , including order management, portfolio tracking, reconciliation, and reporting.

2. Migration Testing (WealthSpectrum)

• Lead and execute

  data migration testing

  , ensuring complete data accuracy, reconciliation, and post-migration validations.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to

  mitigate migration risks

  through exhaustive test coverage and reporting.

3. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with

  business analysts, product owners, and technology teams

  to understand requirements and deliver robust testing outcomes.
• Coordinate effectively with

  peer QA members

  for seamless testing cycles and handovers.
• Support

  User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  and ensure timely business sign-offs.

4. Defect Tracking & Management

• Identify, log, and track defects using tools like

  JIRA, HP ALM

  , or similar systems.
• Collaborate with development teams to

  ensure timely resolution

  and maintain defect quality metrics.

5. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain detailed QA documentation —

  test strategies, traceability matrices, and summary reports

  .
• Ensure all testing adheres to

  SEBI, AMFI, and related capital market regulatory guidelines

  .

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum

  5 years of QA experience

  in the

  Indian Capital Markets

  domain.
• Strong hands-on experience with

  PMS/WMS platforms

  such as Miles PMS and WealthSpectrum WMS (mandatory).
• Solid understanding of

  Equity

  and

  Mutual Fund

  operations, transaction workflows, and reporting structures.
• Proficiency in

  MS SQL

  for backend validation;

  Oracle

  experience is a strong plus.
• Proven track record in

  migration testing

  , preferably involving WealthSpectrum.
• Experience with QA tools such as

  JIRA

  ,

  HP ALM

  , or equivalent platforms.
• Excellent

  analytical, documentation, and communication

  skills.
• Ability to

  work independently

  while collaborating effectively within QA teams.

Preferred Skills

• ISTQB

  or equivalent QA certification.
• Exposure to

  test automation tools

  such as Selenium or Cypress.
• Knowledge of additional asset classes such as

  Fixed Income

  or

  Derivatives
