QC Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager with a strong background in Food Technology to lead and oversee quality assurance, food safety, and compliance processes across our production operations. The ideal candidate will ensure that all products meet regulatory standards, customer expectations, and internal quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) in compliance with national and international food safety standards.
• Lead and supervise the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) teams.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSAI, GMP, and other relevant regulations.
• Conduct routine audits (internal & external) and coordinate third-party inspections.
• Monitor product quality at each stage of production and initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Review specifications for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
• Oversee documentation, traceability, and quality records management.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and enhance product quality.
• Investigate customer complaints and implement resolution plans.
• Train staff on hygiene, food safety, and quality protocols.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in QA/QC within the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and certification standards.
• Experience working with manufacturing units such as dairy, bakery, beverages, ready-to-eat, etc. (customize if needed).
• Excellent understanding of QMS, HACCP, GMP, SOPs, and auditing practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in documentation, reporting, and digital quality tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
