QC Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Engineer to ensure our manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. The QC Engineer will be responsible for implementing quality control procedures, inspecting production output, analyzing defects, and working closely with the production team to ensure all products meet technical specifications and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and enforce quality standards across the manufacturing process.
• Conduct hourly dimensional and visual inspections of parts using precision measuring instruments (e.g., Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.).
• Identify defects or deviations and take immediate corrective actions.
• Review and analyze production data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare and maintain quality inspection reports, test records, and documentation in accordance with company and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with production supervisors to ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
• Lead or support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for non-conformities.
• Support internal audits and customer inspections as required.
• Provide technical support and training to shop floor workers to enhance product quality and reduce rework/rejection rates.
• Ensure that all quality-related activities comply with ISO standards and safety regulations.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• ITI / Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment, preferably in metal components, sheet metal, or fan guard manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of quality inspection tools, mechanical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other applicable quality management systems is preferred.
• Proficient in using measurement instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving abilities.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
