QC Engineer

We are looking for a QC Engineer to ensure that all kitchen equipment products meet the required quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements. The role involves inspection, testing, documentation, and coordination with production and design teams to maintain consistent product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished kitchen equipment (SS equipment, fabrication items, modular kitchen equipment, etc.).
• Verify products as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, and client requirements.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, food-grade norms, and safety regulations.
• Conduct dimensional checks, visual inspections, and functional testing of equipment.
• Identify defects, non-conformities, and root causes; suggest corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Coordinate with production, fabrication, and procurement teams to resolve quality issues.
• Prepare and maintain QC documents such as inspection reports, test reports, NCRs, and checklists.
• Monitor welding quality, finishing (polish, joints), material thickness, and fabrication accuracy.
• Participate in internal audits, vendor inspections, and client inspections when required.
• Ensure proper packing and dispatch quality to avoid transit damage.
• Maintain calibration records of measuring instruments.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in quality processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in QC within kitchen equipment, fabrication, or stainless steel manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of SS grades (SS 304/316), fabrication processes, and welding standards.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layouts.
• Familiarity with quality tools, inspection methods, and documentation.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
