Employment Type: Full-time Experience: 1–4 years Job location - Gurgaon sec 19 Shift timings - 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm ( Mon to Fri) Role Summary We are hiring a QA Engineer to own end-to-end testing for our web and mobile applications in the logistics domain. The role includes test planning, creation/execution of test cases, API testing, regression/smoke cycles, reporting defects, and signing off releases. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and traceability against requirements. Execute functional, regression, smoke/sanity, cross-browser/device tests. Perform API testing (Postman): auth/JWT, status codes, file uploads, pagination, error handling. Validate real-time flows (e.g., chat/Socket.IO) and map/geo features (live tracking). Verify role-based access/permissions (RBAC) and file upload validations. Log and manage defects with clear repro steps, evidence (screenshots/videos/logs). Maintain test data; perform basic data checks using MongoDB Compass/DB export. Support release readiness: smoke packs, regression matrix, sign-off, and hotfix re-verification. Contribute to process documentation and QA best practices. (Nice to have) Build/maintain basic automation smoke for critical flows (web/mobile). Must-Have Qualifications 1–4 years of hands-on manual QA (web; mobile preferred). Strong test design techniques (positive/negative/boundary, edge cases). Postman proficiency; ability to read Swagger/OpenAPI. Browser DevTools, Android APK install/testing (React Native/Expo exposure is a plus). Working knowledge of REST, headers, status codes, auth (JWT/cookies). Git basics and collaborative testing on branches/PRs. Cypress/Playwright (JS/TS) for web smoke suites. Appium/Detox basics for mobile sanity. JMeter/k6 (performance smoke), Charles/Fiddler (network debugging). CI awareness (GitHub Actions/Jenkins), Docker basics. Logistics domain exposure (FCL/LCL/FTL/LTL), map/geo testing, S3/file validations. Tools (Typical) Postman, Jira/ClickUp, GitHub, Browser DevTools, MongoDB Compass, Loom (screen capture), (optional: BrowserStack/Android devices). KPIs / Success Metrics Test case coverage & pass rate Escaped defect rate & defect turnaround time Regression cycle time and release quality
