QA Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Test Engineer with 4 years of hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, test strategy, and quality assurance best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QA methodologies, automation frameworks, security testing, and CI/CD pipelines, with a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications.

Demonstrate strong analytical thinking to effectively design and generate comprehensive test scenarios.

Strong ability to test dynamic and interactive user interfaces, including DOM-based validations, asynchronous events, real-time data rendering, and responsive behaviour across devices and browsers.

Lead the automation strategy using modern test frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit).

Conduct comprehensive security testing, including in-depth vulnerability assessments, threat modelling, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to ensure end-to-end quality.

Implement and maintain CI/CD integrations for automated testing pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

Track and manage defects through tools like JIRA, and work with development teams to resolve issues.

Develop metrics and dashboards to monitor QA coverage and test effectiveness.

Evaluate and onboard new test tools and frameworks that improve efficiency and test coverage.

Good to know: Experience in testing systems integrated with LLMs, focusing on prompt-response validation, API interactions, and functional behaviour of AI-powered features Required

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

4 years of experience in QA Testing, including both manual and automation.

Strong proficiency in automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright.

Programming/scripting skills in Java, Python or JavaScript.

Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, Postman, and backend testing.

Hands-on experience in performance testing with tools like JMeter, focusing on load simulation, bottleneck analysis, and system scalability.

Knowledge in Security testing (OWASP, SAST/DAST tools like SonarQube, Burp Suite, ZAP).

Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and integrating test automation into build processes.

Hands-on with tools like JIRA, TestRail, Git, Docker, Kubernetes.

Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
