QA Test Engineer

In this role at one.com / group.one, you will be responsible for supporting the quality assurance efforts across hosting-related products and services. You will collaborate with global engineering and product teams to ensure the reliability, stability, and exceptional customer experience of every release. Your responsibilities will include: - Plan, design, and execute manual and automated tests for hosting-related products and services. - Perform API testing (REST and GraphQL) to validate business logic, performance, and data integrity. - Contribute to UI automation using Playwright and maintain test coverage during regression cycles. - Collaborate with Development, Product, and QA peers during refinement sessions to ensure testable stories. - Support the ongoing test automation strategy by enhancing coverage, stability, and reducing regression execution time. - Report testing progress, risks, and readiness before each release for high-quality deliverables. As a skilled QA Test Engineer, you must possess the following mandatory skills: - 4+ years of QA experience covering manual and automated testing. - Strong knowledge of API testing tools like Postman, Pytest, or similar. - Programming skills in Python or another modern language. - Experience with Playwright, Cucumber, or similar test automation frameworks. - Understanding of risk-based testing principles and core QA processes. - Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across technical and product teams. Additionally, the following skills are considered nice to have: - Knowledge of Hosting technologies such as DNS, web hosting, SSL, Kubernetes. - Experience with CI/CD integration and non-functional testing tools like JMeter or K6. - Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and Cucumber Studio. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors degree (B.Tech. or B.E.) in Computer Science or Information Technology. - 4-6 years of relevant experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
