Job Description

Job Summary: Assistant QC Chemist We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant QC Chemist to support quality control activities in our laboratory. The ideal candidate will assist in testing raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Conduct routine analytical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using instruments such as UV-Vis, HPLC, FTIR, pH meter, etc. Prepare reagents, standard solutions, and perform titrations and other wet chemistry techniques. Maintain accurate records of all test results in accordance with GMP/GLP guidelines. Assist in sampling, documentation, and analysis as per SOPs. Support method validation and instrument calibration activities. Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of lab equipment and work area. Identify and report non-conformities or deviations from quality standards. Collaborate with production and QA teams to ensure consistent product quality. Follow all safety and hygiene protocols in the laboratory. Qualifications & Skills: B.Sc. / B.pharma/ M.Sc. in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field. 0–2 years of relevant experience in a QC laboratory (freshers may be considered). Basic knowledge of chemical analysis and instrumentation. Familiarity with GMP, GLP, and ISO standards is a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
