Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed. Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods. Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or inventory software. Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing. Supervise loading/unloading/Packaging and proper storage of materials. Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) and other inventory practices. Handle complaints and resolve issues promptly. Collaborate with sales and logistics teams for smooth operations. Prepare daily/weekly reports on stock movement and sales. Maintain documentation for inward/outward goods and returns.
Develop and implement quality control processes to meet industry standards and customer requirements Conduct regular inspections and tests on products to ensure compliance with quality standards Analyze data and provide feedback to design and manufacturing teams to improve product quality Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and prevent reoccurrence Lead continuous improvement projects and initiatives to enhance quality processes and outcomes Provide training and guidance to team members on quality control procedures and best practices Automotive Quality Engineer Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or related field Experience with quality management systems (QMS) such as ISO/TS 16949 Knowledge of statistical analysis tools and methods Familiarity with automotive manufacturing processes Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field 5+ years of experience in a quality engineering role within the automotive industry Knowledge of quality control methodologies and best practices, including Six Sigma and ISO 9001 Working knowledge of failure investigation techniques and related tools: 8D, 6 Sigma, Root Cause Analysis. Own and resolve complaints and requests from assigned customer Quality statistics and sampling plans Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and lead projects to successful completion Ability to communicate with the customer in order to gather information necessary to troubleshoot and conduct investigation updates Ability to work with a multifunctional team; Manufacturing Engineering, Applications Engineering, R&D, Operations and Quality Ability to serve as the voice of the customer back into the business and work across the Commercial and Operations team to prioritize the customer needs
