Assistant Store Keeper

Job Summary: Storekeeper   We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Store Keeper with at least 2 years of relevant experience to manage and oversee inventory, supplies, and materials within our in-house storage facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure proper stock control, safe storage practices, and timely issuance of materials to various departments. Key Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and stock. Maintain proper storage, labeling, and organization of inventory. Issue materials and supplies to relevant departments as per requests. Update stock records using manual logs or inventory management software. Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess to the supervisor. Conduct regular physical stock audits and reconcile with system records. Ensure cleanliness and safety of the store area. Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for timely replenishment. Prevent loss, damage, or theft of inventory through effective control measures. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports. Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience as a store keeper or in a similar inventory control role. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in inventory management is a plus. Familiarity with inventory software (e.g., Tally, Marg, MS Excel). Good organizational and time-management skills. Ability to lift moderately heavy items and operate warehouse equipment (preferred). Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Trustworthy, punctual, and responsible. Working Conditions: On-site / In-house storage facility. May require standing for long periods or lifting materials up to 25 kg. Standard working hours; overtime as needed during peak periods.
