Profile: QA Lead

Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced QA Lead with 8+ years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing to lead and manage quality assurance activities across multiple projects. The candidate will be responsible for defining QA strategies, ensuring high quality deliverables, mentoring QA teams, and collaborating closely with development and business stakeholders in a service-based IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead QA efforts including planning, execution, and delivery of testing activities
2. Define and implement QA strategies, test plans, and test processes
3. Hands-on experience in Manual Testing (Functional, Regression, System, Integration, UAT)
4. Plan and execute Performance Testing to ensure application scalability and reliability
5. Design, develop, and maintain Automation Test Scripts and Frameworks
6. Perform automation testing using Selenium, TestNG, and Java
7. Conduct API Testing using tools such as Postman / REST Assured
8. Review test cases, automation scripts, and defect reports
9. Mentor and guide QA team members
10. Collaborate with development and business teams during requirement analysis and sprint planning
11. Establish and monitor QA metrics (defect leakage, test coverage, automation ROI, etc.)
12. Participate in defect triage and release signoffs
13. Support client interactions and quality reviews as required 14. Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum processes
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. 8+ years of experience in Software Testing
2. Strong experience in Manual and Automation Testing
3. Hands-on expertise in Selenium, TestNG, and Java
4. Solid experience in API Testing
5. Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills
6. Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, etc.)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,600,000.00 per year
