Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance and automation, with hands-on experience in one or more automation tools. The QA Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability by creating and executing test plans, identifying issues, and collaborating with development teams. Roles and Responsibilities: • Automate functionalities using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Postman API Automation, and Appium. Hands-on experience with at least one of these tools is required. • Collaborate closely with development teams to automate rapidly in parallel with development activities. • Develop and review test scenarios, test cases, and test data. • Perform testing in accordance with defined procedures, ensuring thorough coverage and adherence to standards. • Independently own a product and ensure zero defects in production. • Participate in walkthroughs of testing procedures to ensure clarity and completeness. • Prepare all reports related to software testing, including test execution results, defect reports, and status updates. • Execute test cases, report defects, and assign severity and priority to each defect. • Utilize excellent critical thinking skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues effectively. Qualifications: • Proficiency in using automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Postman API Automation, or Appium. • Experience in testing both mobile and web applications. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers.
